Orscheln Products L.L.C. (Orscheln) is recalling certain park brake levers part numbers, 23039400; 23039401; 23039402; 1334100; 23028901; and 01331401. The secondary latch may fail to catch, allowing the parking brake to be released without pressing the release button.
A parking brake that is released unexpectedly may result in a vehicle roll away, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Dealers will inspect secondary latch and, rework as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 18, 2024. Owners may contact Orscheln customer service at 1-660-269-4900.
