As such, these vehicles fails to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 226, "Ejection Mitigation."

Consequence

Remedy

Dealers will replace the window, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters explaining the safety risk were mailed by May 26, 2026. Owners will receive another notice once remedy becomes available. Owners may contact Braun's customer service at 1-800-488-0359.
