Defect summary

IF THE WIRING OF CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM BECOMES WET WHILE ENGAGED, THERE IS A POSSIBILITY OF CREATING A SHORT CIRCUIT AND CRUISE CONTROL MALFUNCTION.

Consequence

THIS COULD CAUSE THE SPEED TO BEGIN INCREASINGAUTOMATICALLY WITH POTENTIAL FOR LOSS OF CONTROL AND AN ACCIDENT.

Remedy

REPLACE CRUISE CONTROL MODULE.
