NHTSA complaint 11319762I HAVE A 2006 GMC ENVOY DENALI THAT CAUGHT FIRE THIS MORNING, IT WAS AN ELECTRICAL FIRE, CAUSED IN THE HVAC BLOWER CIRCUIT, THE CIRCUIT FUSE DID NOT BLOW, THE CABIN FILLED WITH SMOKE, AND AN OPEN FLAME WAS CREATED. I MANAGED TO PUT THE FIRE OUT, HOWEVER SOMEONE ELSE IN THIS SITUATION MIGHT NOT HAVE EVEN BEEN ABLE TO PULL OFF A BUSY HIGHWAY, LET ALONE EXTINGUISH THE FIRE AS IT WAS UNDER THE DASH BEHIND THE GLOVEBOX.
