NHTSA complaint 11443602On 2 occasions the motorcycle has abruptly gone into limp mode. I took it to the dealership under warranty and they ran historic codes, P1511,P1100 and P2135 which is voltage correlation error. They tried duplicating the issue without success. I understand this is a historic problem with Harley and has to be addressed by searching the wiring system which apparently they did not do. This is a continuing dangerous situation as it can shut the bike down at any time and cause a serious if not fatal accident.
NHTSA complaint 11441027Technical service bulletins and other notices the manufacturer sent to dealers. A bulletin is not a recall; the 60 most recent are listed.
