HARLEY DAVIDSON DID A RECALL 0177 FOR 2019 TO 2021 HEADLAMP BULB REFLECTOR REPLACEMENT, PART #68297-05A. I HAVE THE SAME PART #68297-05A ON MY 2016 HARLEY DAVIDSON IRON 883. THEY WILL NOT REPLACE MY IDENTICAL PART NUMBER. THEY SAY THE 2016 PART 368297-05A HAS A MATT FINISH TO THE INSIDE OF THE REFLECTOR AND THE 2019 THROUGH 2021 PART #68297-05A HAS A CHROME FINISH THAT WAS CAUSING EXCESSIVE HEAT ISSUES TO THE BULB CAUSING HOLES ON THE TIP OF THE BULB'S OUTER SURFACE NEAR THE TIP. I HAVE THE SAME PART NUMBER AND REPLACED THE BULB BUT THE LIGHT IS NOT WORKING, POSSIBLE FROM THE REFLECTOR OR THE HEAT FROM THE REFLECTOR CAUSING THE WIRE TO OVERHEAT AND NOT WORK AS A NEW BULB REPLACEMENT DID NOT FIX MY HEALIGHT BURN OUT ISSUE.
