We lock the door to our motorhome via the indoor turning lock every night. In the morning the door would not unlock. It took a lot of jiggling to finally open it. To keep it from happening again we zip tied the lock to the door handle as shown in the picture attached. We live in the motorhome and were fearful of entrapment since that is the only man door
NHTSA complaint 11643880On 8/9/23 my diesel RV on a Freightliner chassis threw a 3664 code for a bad Diesel Exhaust Fluid sensor. Lucky I was only 20 miles from home and made it home before the engine derated. I could have easily been stranded on the side of the interstate putting myself and my family in danger. I had to replace the entire diesel exhaust fluid head to fix the problem as the sensor is not a separate part. This seems to be a very common problem for this to go bad and is a huge safety issue. I now carry a spare head in case this happens again as the parts are hard to find.
NHTSA complaint 11541616FRONT GENERATOR SLIDING DOOR IS TOO LOW AND HAS POOR LATCHING CAUSING THE DOOR TO HIT SMALL HUMPS / INCLINES THEN OPEN LATER AT AN UNINTENDED TIME. TWICE I HAVE BLOCKED TRAFFIC TRYING TO GET IT BACK UNDER THE COACH AFTER SEEMINGLY RANDOM OPENINGS. REPAIR COSTS FOR THIS POOR DESIGN IS RIDICULOUS. IT IS A ROAD HAZARD.
NHTSA complaint 11153461Technical service bulletins and other notices the manufacturer sent to dealers. A bulletin is not a recall.
