The steering wheel was difficult to maneuver. The maintenance light was illuminated. The contact had received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V744000 (Steering). An appointment was scheduled with the local dealer, and the contact was informed that parts were not yet available for the recall repair. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 17,000.
