2026 Honda CRV Hybrid Sport Touring Loses power and stumbles periodically when making a left hand turn. Has happened three times in the first 2300 miles. Occurred when making 90 degree left turn from stop or slow roll. Brought it to the dealer on 9/26/26. Honda Turnersville NJ. They say they can not reproduce the issue and they are not showing any fault codes, other than the radio.
NHTSA complaint 11767093Sudden loss of braking power on June 29, 2026, with sudden brake warnings. We had the same error after taking delivery of the vehicle in September 2025. The dealership repaired the vehicle (brake sensor). We have another dealer appointment on July 6, 2026 to repair this again. Very concerning from a safety perspective that this is occurring again.

The contact stated that while driving 5 MPH to her father's residence on a slight decline, approximately 30 minutes later, the vehicle experienced a complete loss of power, became inoperable, and stopped in the middle of the roadway. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact engaged the emergency gear lock to release the gear shifter, and the contact shifted to neutral(N); however, the vehicle rolled forward at approximately 3 MPH and hit a fence before the contact and her family could push it to the side of the road. There was no property damage. The front bumper of the vehicle was damaged. No police report was filed. There was no reported injury. Upon investigating the failure online, both the contact and the vehicle insurance company learned that the manufacturer was aware of the common failure but had not issued a recall.
