The contact owns a 2019 Jayco Eagle HT RV. The contact stated that the front tires had experienced excessive wear and tear. The RV was taken to the local dealer who diagnosed that the front axle was bent and needed to be replaced. The cause of the failure was not determined. The RV was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 5,000.
NHTSA complaint 11449715The contact owns a 2019 Jayco Eagle HT. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V425000 (Equipment). A dealer was contacted and informed him that he had the part available to repair the RV however, the contact had to repair the recall himself. The contact then called Rangitsch Brothers RV and Manufactured Home Center (2001 W Broadway St, Missoula, MT 59808) where he was informed that they had to order the part and that they would service the RV under the recall. The manufacturer was notified of the recall and informed him that there was a part shortage and that parts were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
