I am currently operating this vehicle as a rental car and have encountered a severe visibility and safety hazard caused by the design of the Front Passenger Interactive Display on the dashboard. The specific angle, slant, and glossy finish of this screen act like a mirror, redirecting intense, blinding sunlight directly into the occupants' eyes depending on the sun's position, creating an immediate crash hazard. Incident 1 (Driver Blindness): Earlier yesterday, while driving northbound on [XXX] through [XXX] and into [XXX], the sun was positioned in the southeast. The sunlight entered the passenger side, struck the slanted passenger screen, and bounced directly into my eyes as the driver. The blinding glare was so sudden and severe that it completely obstructed my forward visibility, forcing me to slow down suddenly on the interstate to avoid a collision. Incident 2 (Passenger Blindness): Later in the day, at approximately 4:40 PM Central Time, with the sun shifting to the west, the hazard flipped. The sunlight struck the screen at the opposite angle, bouncing intense glare directly into the front passenger's eyes, blinding them. Because this is an inherent hardware design and orientation flaw of the physical screen, the occupants cannot adjust or tilt the display to eliminate the reflection. It creates an ongoing, dangerous distraction and temporary blindness for whoever is sitting in the path of the reflected light. NHTSA complaint 11767238On 7/17/2026 I was involved in a motor vehicle crash resulting in damage to both my Jeep Wagoneer and the other vehicle. I was informed that I have a recall on my Electronic brake assist and the brake system control module for my Wagoneer today August 6th, 2026. I'm wondering if the faulty brake system control module contributed to the crash. I am unable to complete the recall repairs until after my wagnoeer is repaired after the resulting motor vehicle crash. I had no prior warning, messages, or problems prior to the failure. Also to note--I hit my head on my side driver door and sustained significant impact to the front fender wheel (driver side) and my air bags did not deploy. The resulting damages to my car are estimated at $19,000
