I've owned this vehicle since new. Purchased in 9/2022. Since then the code 62 has been set twice by the ECU, causing the throttle to hang-up at or near 4000 RPM. I had to turn off the ignition as well as the key. After restarting, the vehicle runs fine. The dealer looked at it & performed diagnostics, however when the vehicle is running well. They are unable to find a problem. This code & throttle hang-up issue is unpredictable & intermittent. Throttle hanging up at high RPM is scary & unsafe. Thanks!
NHTSA complaint 11556760I was in low power mode with three traction control and was coming out of a turn, the back tire lost traction and was spinning. I almost did a complete 180 and was then upended over the bike. There wasn't any gravel, it hadn't rained, there weren't any obstacles in the road and there was no reason the back tire should have lost traction. Especially with the technology of the ZX6R with three levels of traction control.
