The contact owns a 2020 KZRV Sportster equipped with Trailer King Tire II ST Radial, Tire Line: N/A, Tire Size: ST 235/80/R16, and DOT Number:1ADB5TRT1. The contact stated that while driving at 70 MPH, he heard an abnormal popping sound emitting from the trailer. Upon inspection, the contact discovered that the passenger side rear tire had a blowout. The contact called an independent service shop for assistance and the contact was able to replace the tire with a spare. The contact stated that an investigator who inspected the vehicle determined the cause of the failure as tread separation. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but did not receive any assistance. The tire and vehicle failure mileage were unknown.
