NHTSA complaint 11625286The contact owns a 2020 Royal Enfield Himalayan. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V129000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic) however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that the motorcycle was a dragging while riding. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The approximate failure mileage was 45,000. Parts distribution disconnect.
NHTSA complaint 11522621THE ENGINE SHUTS OFF. SOMETIMES SITTING AT A STOPLIGHT. SOMETIMES MOVING THROUGH TRAFFIC. OR SOMETIMES AT HIGHWAY SPEED AS IT DID TODAY. GENERALLY TURN THE KEY OFF TURN THE KEY BACK ON AND THE ENGINE COMES BACK TO LIFE. THIS IS ABOUT THE 15TH TIME IT'S HAPPENED.
