The contact owns a 2021 Thor Motor Coach Vegas Motorhome. The contact stated that while her husband was driving 63 MPH, the electric shade on the driver’s side front detached and fell off the motorhome. The contact had to hold the electric shade up until they were able to pull over at a gas station. The plastic clips that held the electric shade were fractured. The contact unclipped the electric shade and later attached it with zip ties to secure it in place. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact to make an appointment with a dealer to replace the plastic clips with metal clips and it would be covered under warranty. The failure mileage was unknown.
