The contact owns a 2023 Triumph Rocket 3 GT. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the display screen went blank and the motorcycle unexpectedly shut off. The failure caused another vehicle to rear-end the motorcycle's rear wheel, fracturing the license plate. The contact suffered back pains, but no medical attention was received. A police report was not filed. The contact stated that the vehicle had previously had the battery replaced for the same failure, but the failure persisted. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, who determined that the battery wires were loose and the battery needed to be replaced for the second time. The vehicle was not repaired.
