NHTSA complaint 11707552I purchased this vehicle 2024 and had the check engine light come on the day after I purchased it. The vehicle shuts off while driving. It has been to the dealer several times for programing, and a few days later light back on again. I recently brought it in and has been there for three weeks. They called and basically check a lot of thigs but can't say it is repaired. To me this is unbelievable. When I bought it in this time it stalled twice the same day. I was turning into a street and shut it shut off while downshifting for the turn. As I was rolling to a stop when an opposing vehicle pulled out across my path, and I almost hit his rear quarter panel. It happened so fast I hadn't noticed the bike stalled. If you wait awhile, it will restart again which is not great in an intersection. I have looked on social media which shows people having the same issue around the world. I was surprised to see no complaints listed here. I am affraid to drive it now not knowing it isn't fixed.
NHTSA complaint 11684989Immobilizer warning light stays lit while riding. Bike sometimes takes 2-3 cycle to restart when warm. Occasionally bike has immediately cut off when downshifting for a complete stop from 2nd gear with clutch lever pulled in.
NHTSA complaint 11645222The motorcycle stops randomly, in motion, when downshifting and with the clutch depressed. The official Triumph Service Center has been visited without success in the repair. The software update did not fix the problem.
NHTSA complaint 11628217On multiple occasions while slowing down, or coming off the line, with the clutch fully disengaged, the motorcycle has stalled. The RPMs drop to zero and it cuts out. Usually you can hear the engine sputter a bit before it cuts. I've tried adjusting the clutch free play and it's made no difference.
