NHTSA complaint 111416187-WAY CORD INCLUDING BRAKES ARE FUSED OFF OF THE CIRCUIT BREAKER. WHEN BREAK AWAY IS ACTIVATED IT CAN BLOW THIS 20 AMP FUSE AND TERMINATE THE POWER TO THE 7-WAY CORD AND BREAK AWAY. IN A BREAK AWAY SITUATION FROM THE TOW VEHICLE THIS WOULD CAUSE THE BREAK AWAY SWITCH TO NOT ACTIVATE AND NOT STOP THE VEHICLE. I AM A TECHNICIAN AT AN RV DEALERSHIP AND NOTICED THIS. I CALLED VAN LEIGH AND ASKED WHY THEY DID THIS AND HAVE STILL NOT RECEIVED AN ANSWER. I CHECKED ALL OF THE OTHER 2017 VAN LEIGH VILANOS ON OUR SALES LOT AND THEY ARE ALL WIRED THIS WAY.
