The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the battery was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 15,347.
NHTSA complaint 11556480The contact owns a 2018 Fiat 500E. The contact stated that while driving at night, it was discovered that the driver's side headlight was not illuminating. The driver's side light bulb was replaced but would intermittently shut off. Upon inspection, the contact discovered that the driver's side light bulb connector had melted and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 26,500.
