TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 GULF STREAM CONQUEST SPORT. THE VEHICLE HAS A DOMETIC REFRIGERATOR, MODEL RM2652. THE CONTACT NOTICED A YELLOWISH-BROWN SUBSTANCE SPILLING ALONG SIDE HER REFRIGERATOR IN EARLY SPRING. SHE INTENDED TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO A DEALER TO HAVE THE ISSUE REPAIRED. SHE RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 06E076000 (EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE) FOR THE REFRIGERATOR, BUT DID NOT FEEL THAT THE REMEDY (SECONDARY BURNER HOUSING) WAS SUFFICIENT. THE MANUFACTURER KNEW THAT POTENTIAL FAILURES COULD OCCUR AND ONLY OFFERED TO INSTALL THE HOUSING. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 17,000 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 16,000.
