TOWMAX POWER KING ST235/85 16R E RATED TIRES MANUFACTURED DATE 4113. I REALLY PRIDE MYSELF ON SAFETY AND TAKING CARE OF MY RV AND TIRES. RV IS KEPT INSIDE A 30X60 BUILDING AND CLEANED OFF AFTER EVERY TRIP. I CHECK THE AIR PRESSURE IN MY TIRES BEFORE I LEAVE TO GO CAMPING AND BEFORE I COME BACK HOME FROM CAMPING. AND I NEVER PULL FASTER THAN 65 MPH. 2 TIMES IN 2 WEEKS HAD BLOWOUTS WITH THESE TIRES WHICH CAUSED DAMAGE TO MY COACH. TIRES ARE KEPT CLEAN PROPER AIR PRESSURE AND HAS LESS THAN 4500 MILES ON THEM. BOTH TIMES I WAS TRAVELING ON THE INTERSTATE. LAST WEEK I WAS TRAVELING AT 64 MPH AND TODAY 55 MPH. THE FIRST BLOWOUT WAS MAY 19, 2016 I-12 NEAR THE NORTHSHORE MALL EXIT THE SECOND BLOWOUT WAS MAY 30, 2016 ON THE I-10 MISSISSIPPI BRIDGE IN BATON ROUGE, LA.

WE HAD A MAJOR TIRE BLOWOUT WHILE TRAVELING WITH OUR NEWLY PURCHASED HEARTLAND GATEWAY 5TH-WHEEL. THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT TIRE (POWER KING TOW MAX ST235/85R16) BLEW AND COMPLETELY CAME UNRAVELLED. AT THAT TIME I CONTACTED THE DEALER WE PURCHASED THE RIG FROM WHO REFERRED ME TO THE HEARTLAND REPRESENTATIVE WHO (FURTHER) REFERRED ME TO THE TIRE MANUFACTURER REPRESENTATIVE. AFTER ROAD SERVICE REPLACED THE BLOWN TIRE WITH THE SPARE, I WAS DIRECTED TO THE LOCAL TIRE REPRESENTATIVE FOR FURTHER INSPECTION OF THE TIRE. UPON FURTHER INSPECTION (OF THE BLOWN TIRE) FROM THE LOCAL TIRE REPRESENTATIVE, HE DETERMINED THAT THE CAUSE OF THE BLOWOUT WAS SIDEWALL COLLAPSE. FURTHER INSPECTION OF THE THREE REMAINING TIRES SHOWED ABNORMAL WEAR AND THAT THEY TOO WERE WEAK AND NOT SAFE FOR FURTHER TRAVEL. I REPLACED ALL FOUR TIRES WITH COMMERCIAL GRADE TIRES AND THE "TIRE REPRESENTATIVE" OFFERED AN 80% REIMBURSEMENT OF THE COST OF THE FOUR-TIRE REPLACEMENT. THIS 5TH-WHEEL IS A 2015 MODEL WITH LESS THAN 1,500 MILES ON THE TIRES. *TR
