   The infotainment screen will go blank and will no longer show the backup camera at all. The FAKRA recall was performed at the Honda dealership when I first purchased the car new. I did not have any significant issues until around July of 2026. First, the speakers will crackle with static noise, then the volume cuts off completely, then the screen goes black and message pops up "Network Communication Lost, MOST Net Off". Then the screen will completely go blank and the backup camera will not turn on when in reverse. For the past two weeks the screen/radio/backup camera does not turn on at all. Completely black screen the entire time while driving, even with repeated power cycles. This is obviously related to the FAKRA recall that did not fix the issue. This is a major safety issue for a large, family vehicle to not have a functioning backup camera; something that has been federally required since 2016. A new recall needs to be issued so that the issue can be fixed correctly.

   XXXX purchased BFS weather peak tires from Costco Tire Center in [XXX]. Tires have 70,000 mile [XXX]. Took my Honda Odyssey Touring into get and oil change and have the tires rotated: Honda of [XXX] stated they could not rotate the tires because it was not safe to do so. LF tire and RF tire measure at 3/32 back measure at 4/32. They said it would not be safe to rotate the tires do to the depth of the tread on the front tires. I took the tires back to Costco to have a warranty claim filed and to get them replace. 70,000 mile tires on lasting 34010 miles. Tires 70,000 Miles tread wear breakdown. My Van had 35,746 miles on it when I got the tires. Then at 69,756 the 15 point inspection deemed the tires requiring immediate attention and in need of replacement after only 34,010 miles.    The contact owns a 2023 Honda Odyssey. The contact stated that the windows were stuck and became inoperable. The contact stated that while driving 65 MPH, the windows only went halfway up before falling. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where it was determined that the window tracks were deteriorating on the driver’s and passenger’s sides. The contact stated that a new window motor was installed but felt that the issue might reoccur. The failure mileage was not provided.

   After stopping the car in a left turn lane in the intersection, the car engine, dash board and infotainment system shut down. No warnings or other items appeared, the car died. After scrambling since it put traffic to a standstill, I shifter to park and returned on the car. Which worked and allowed me to continue. This happened again 1 week later while at a red light.

   Seems like due to the auto idle, it makes the engine idle so low that it dies- my car died in middle of the road- the first time, I had it jumped, and mechanic said it was a fluke, second time, despite the testing not showing any issue, he said we can try to replace the battery, so we did, but 6 weeks later my car died, and it took 5 attempts to get it to restart with the external battery pack! each time there was NO issue with the electrical system- my A/C was running fine, the whole dashboard showed up fine. Seems like according to a class action suit in california this is an issue Honda KNEW about! People now know to press the Auto-off button so the car does not auto idle- but this needs to be done EACH time, or you will end up KILLING your engine! How is this allowed to be sold?? I was stuck in MIDDLE of a busy street with my DAUGHTER in the car!!!!

   My 2023 Honda Odyssey (only 2.5 years old with 60,000 miles) recently had a complete tailgate failure. The dealership diagnosed the issue as a failed roof seal. This factory seal failure allowed water to leak inside the vehicle, directly shorting out the tailgate motor module causing the module to get very hot which could have caused a fire.The repair bill is $1,200. I contacted Corporate Honda to request Goodwill Assistance, considering the vehicle is so young and a roof seal should absolutely last longer than 2.5 years.Corporate Honda denied the assistance. They claimed a leaking roof seal is an "external factor" rather than a manufacturing defect. A vehicle's roof seal should protect the internal electronics from everyday weather. Labeling a structural seal failure as an external factor is an unacceptable excuse to avoid standing behind their product.

In addition, the contact was advised to disable the forward collision avoidance feature. The contact was informed that the forward collision avoidance system occasionally malfunctioned. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The contact stated that the failure was a safety hazard. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure.     When we are idling (at a red light), the engine will suddenly stop. We believe this is the feature of the start-stop system used to save gasoline. We will then have to completely restart the car as the car has been turned off. This creates a huge safety hazard at intersections. We have asked Honda about it twice now and currently replacing the starter. Our car is a little over 3 years ago with about 40k miles. The starter should not be failing at this point and we believe it is due to this start stop issue. The starter cost us $1400 in a car that is just over 3 years old with about 40k miles.

    While driving from [XXX] to [XXX], all of the safety systems started to fail. We had driven about 45 minutes from our starting point. As the system started to fail, they would flash across the screen on the dashboard saying each one that was failing. We pulled over to the side of the road, and my husband popped the hood and flames started coming out of the hood, closest to the dashboard and windshield.     The remedy for Safety Recall 23V-431 (MOST bus FAKRA connectors), performed 8/2023 at Joyce Koons Honda (Manassas, VA), has failed. The recall's stated safety risk, rearview camera failure when MOST communication is lost over 20 seconds, now occurs regularly on my vehicle. Symptoms began early 2025 and have worsened: intermittent loss of the rearview camera in reverse, infotainment reboots, and speaker popping (the warning signs listed in the Part 573 report). On [XXX] the infotainment system and backup camera were unavailable for over 50% of a long drive. Vehicle logs show 822 MOST network signal-loss events from [XXX] to [XXX] (avg ~15/week), predominantly "Tuner_Amplifier_Unit SUDDEN_SIGNAL_OFF" and "Meter SUDDEN_SIGNAL_OFF", the exact failure mode the recall remedy was meant to correct. I can provide the log data (chart and CSV). I reported the recurrence to the dealer on 5/31/2025; they said they could not reproduce it, and vehicle logs were cleared up to that date. I opened American Honda case #[XXX] in 10/2025 and escalated as case #[XXX] in 6/2026. On 7/1/2026 an American Honda representative told me Honda cannot authorize service without a dealer diagnosis and that I must pay out of pocket for diagnosis of this failed recall remedy, with reimbursement only as discretionary "goodwill." This appears inconsistent with 49 U.S.C. 30120, which requires recall remedies at no charge, including when the original remedy was inadequate. Honda revised Service Bulletin 23-046 to Version 3 on 12/18/2024, after my repair, revising parts and repair information, which suggests earlier repairs were performed with superseded parts or procedures. This is a rear-visibility (FMVSS 111) safety defect. Please record this as a failed recall remedy for 23V-431.     The front seat slide lever on my 2023 Honda Odyssey failed completely on its own with no accident, force, or misuse involved. The lever detached from the seat rail mechanism, making it impossible to slide the seat forward or backward. The vehicle was purchased in August 2022 and this failure occurred approximately 3.5 years later, just 10 months outside the bumper-to-bumper warranty. When I brought the vehicle to the Honda dealer, I was informed I would be charged $100 for diagnostics even if I declined the repair, leaving me no real choice but to proceed. The total repair cost was $276 (parts $189.78, labor $70.95, misc $15.60) plus taxes. I contacted Honda Customer Relations requesting goodwill reimbursement. After a 3-week review, Honda denied the request. I believe this may be a manufacturing defect as another owner of the same Odyssey model has reported the identical failure.

    My 8 year old child became locked in the seatbelt, the seatbelt would not unbuckle nor release tension, it kept getting tighter and tighter and he tried to get out when it then tightened around his diaphragm and chest making it very hard to take a breath. I had to pull over and ask a store for tools to try and release it but it kept getting tighter and he was panicking. I had three other children in the car and could not take the time to get help without potentially having him go into respiratory arrest. I had to cut the seat belt. My child is terrified of the car, I am terrified this could happen again. I now am down an entire seat due to the cut seatbelt.

    Feb 2025 my windshield was cracked by a random fly ball at my grandson‘s baseball game. I contacted Safelite who put me in touch with South Florida Auto Glass out of [XXX] . They came down replaced the windshield reset the sensors. Everything was fine exactly one year later (2/2026) I got a warning on the dash that the radar was obstructed & all the sensors stopped working. I brought the car up to Largo Honda in [XXX] City and they reset the sensors. On my way home about half an hour into my 3 hr drive, the sensors stopped working again. I called the dealer (Largo Honda) but they have not returned my call. I love my car but would like to get this taken care of. Can you please let me know what I need to do. I will be staying in [XXX] from mid June until the end of July if something can be arranged during that time. Thank you!     I am submitting a formal safety complaint regarding a failure of the power tailgate system on my 2023 Honda Odyssey. The issue involves water intrusion into the liftgate control system, which has resulted in corrosion and subsequent failure of the power tailgate. This malfunction presents both a safety concern and a significant reliability issue, particularly for a vehicle of this age and mileage. What is most concerning is that this does not appear to be an isolated incident. There is a documented history of similar failures in Honda Odyssey vehicles, including prior class action litigation related to tailgate and electrical system defects. Despite this, the issue does not appear to have been adequately addressed or corrected in newer models, including the 2023 version. My vehicle has approximately 30,500 miles and is only slightly outside of the warranty period. I was explicitly assured at the time of purchase that the vehicle was reliable and that the manufacturer would stand behind it. However, I have since been informed that this repair will not be covered, despite the apparent design flaw and known history of the issue. A power tailgate failure is not merely an inconvenience—it can pose safety risks, especially when transporting passengers, children, or cargo. A malfunctioning liftgate can fail to open or close properly, potentially causing injury or limiting access in urgent situations.
