NHTSA complaint 11443689Received a recall letter for my travel trailer in August 2021 which states: Two-stage propane regulators on recreational vehicles may supply elevated, intermittent or low propane pressure to the appliances due to a second stage valve seat that can fail to regulate propane flow and pressure. An increase in propane pressure could cause the flame of the appliance to become larger, and under certain rare circumstances, may ignite adjacent materials resulting in a fire. Also, an increase in propane pressure would also cause the regulator to vent propane continuously thought he pressure relief valve. In an enclosed area or under certain conditions, the vented propane could accumulate at the front of the recreational vehicle and if ignited could result in a fire or explosion. Called the dealer to have the recall taken care of and was placed on a waiting list. Over 3 months have already passed and they have not reached out to me on this matter. I called today 12/1/21 to follow up and was told they've ordered 319 kits to have the recalls repaired but they've only received 12 kits so far. Dealer has not offered to have my trailer inspected. I am afraid this will never be taken care of and I might not be able to use my trailer until the issue is fixed. Please help me!
