    The contact owns a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that while his wife was driving at approximately 35 MPH, the vehicle felt like it went into neutral. All the instrument lights illuminated. The brakes were depressed but failed to respond. The driver lost control of the vehicle and clipped an unknown vehicle. and crashed into a concrete barrier. The driver sustained knee, back, and stomach injuries, and medical attention was provided at the emergency room. The airbags deployed. A police report was filed. There was no reported fire. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The vehicle was deemed a total loss. The failure mileage was unknown.

The contact then shut off the circuit breaker. The contact stated that the failure caused a short circuit in the circuit breaker, which required the socket and wiring to be replaced. The dealer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that the VIN was included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V741000 (Electrical System); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available.     The contact owns a 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4XE. The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 25V710000 (Electrical System) and 25V741000 (Electrical System); however, the parts to do the recall repairs were not yet available. The contact stated that while driving 10-15 MPH and attempting to drive onto the main road, the vehicle lost drive power. The contact was able to restart the vehicle within 2 minutes and after several attempts. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that upon attempting to start the vehicle in the parking garage on another occasion, the vehicle failed to start. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the alternate battery had failed, and the contact was informed that there was no rental vehicle available. The dealer replaced the battery and informed the contact that the vehicle was repaired; however, the contact advised the dealer to keep the vehicle because he was considering other recourses due to concerns that the vehicle was unsafe to drive. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and a case was filed. Additionally, the manufacturer informed the contact that buy-back assistance could not be provided currently, and the contact was advised to consult the warranty company regarding arbitration. The failure mileage was approximately 8,200.

    Vehicle propelled my wife through garage door and into garage. Automatically started moving on its own from a complete stop and would not respond to brakes. While slamming on brakes, vehicle propelled forward at full throttle while in EV mode. We are thankful no one was killed or injured. Caused significant damage to our home.
