The contact owns a 2025 Keystone Raptor RV. The contact stated that while driving approximately 50 MPH, the rear passenger’s side top 14-foot awning suddenly detached from the RV, landing on the side of the road. The RV was not taken to the dealer. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The manufacturer provided a new awning and an installer to install the replacement awning. The awning was replaced, and it was determined that the original awning had not been installed correctly. The failure mileage was approximately 1,000.
