    MY FORWARD COLLISION MITIGATION (FCM) SYSTEM ACTIVATED WHILE CAR WAS IN MOTION ON A CITY STREET GOING STRAIGHT WITH NO HAZARDS OR OBJECTS OBSTRUCTING THE VEHICLE. THERE WAS A CAR FAR AHEAD OF ME THAT HAD A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF EXHAUST (WATER VAPOR) AND IS WAS A VERY COLD MORNING. THIS WAS THE ONLY FACTOR THAT I SUSPECT TRIGGERED THE BRAKING EPISODE.
