NHTSA complaint 11727861The contact owns a 2021 Moto Guzzi V85 TT Travel. The contact stated while riding 60 MPH, the motorcycle started to decelerate independently. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that while engaging the throttle, the motorcycle accelerated suddenly and he lost his balance on the motorcycle. The contact called the local dealer and made them aware of the failure. The dealer sent a technician to his residence to update the computer software. The contact experienced the failure six times. The contact called the local dealer again and made them aware of the failure. The motorcycle had not been repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 5,200.
