Rear view camera fails frequently displaying a distorted image or no image with an error message. This creates danger to all parties involved and unnecessary risk to property. Manufacturer issued a recall in October 2025 and has failed to provide a timely repair, they should face reprimand.

NHTSA complaint 11765872I'm complaining about NHTSA Recall 25V695. This recall letter from Ford went out in October of 2025 which was a year ago and they have still NOT fixed the issue or given any guidance about how they are going to fix it. I have called the main Ford recall number and they keep saying they currently don't have a fix or timeline for this issue. How long is this going to take. I have had many incidents where is would have been extremely helpful to have the backup camera working to avoid near accidents which is now standard with cars. Please hold them accountable and start fining them or lighting a fire under their ass to get them to move on this issue. Not having any update or fix after a year is unacceptable!!
