TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 KEYSTONE RAPTOR FIFTH WHEEL. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THE BRAKES SEIZED AFTER THE CHECK TRAILER WARNING LAMP ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 3000. UPDATED 05/09/12 *BF THE CONSUMER STATED THE RV HAS A DEFECT IN THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. THE ELECTRICAL BRAKES NEED THE (12V) BATTERIES IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY. UPDATED 05/12/2012 *JS
NHTSA complaint 10453850TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 KEYSTONE RAPTOR TRAILER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 70 MPH THE SPARE TIRE DETACHED FROM THE VEHICLE AND HE HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF THE FAILURE UNTIL HE CHECKED THE TIRE. THE VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED BY A DEALER AND THEY WERE UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE AND WAS ADVISED THAT THE MANUFACTURER WOULD RESPOND. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 1,000.
